Face of a Hero Event

September 1, 2008

An evening dedicated to organ & tissue donation awareness that took place at Centurion Hall in Ottawa. The night's events included:

• a fashion show
• silent and live auctions
• a fantastic dinner

The men from local police and firefighting services, paramedics and medical staff from the Ottawa Hospital were present at the night's events. These individuals had also helped produce the Face of Hero Calendar which also raised funds for organ & tissue awareness.

This event is organized by the Emergency Nurses Association of Ontario in aid of the Organ & Tissue Awareness Program.

Canada Day

July 1, 2008

There was plenty of fun, laughter and great food on Canada Day and two great causes were supported at D'Arcy McGee's Irish Pub (44 Sparks St.–downtown location):

• Our love of Canada!
• Organ & Tissue Donation Awareness. The folks at D'Arcy McGee's donated $1,000 from the day's festivities to the Paul Kennedy Team in support of organ & tissue donation awareness.

National Capital Race Weekend

May 24, 2008

For a 6th consecutive year, Paul's team participated in the Family Challenge at the National Capital Race Weekend in Ottawa. . Members on Paul's team helped raise $11,500! To date, over $79,000 has been raised from this event for the Ottawa Hospital Critical Care Unit and Organ & Tissue Donation and Awareness.

Congrats to all those involved on a job well done.

St. Patrick's Day

There was plenty of fun, laughter and folks wearing green on St. Patty's Day and two great causes were supported at D'Arcy McGee's Irish Pub (44 Sparks St.and Bell’s Corners locations):

• The love of the Irish!
• Organ & Tissue Donation Awareness. The folks at D'Arcy McGee's donated $1,500 from the day's festivities to the Paul Kennedy foundation in support of organ & tissue donation awareness.

New Year's Eve
